Each of the delivery systems has positive and negative features that trainers will want to consider before making their final choice. Also, equipment vendors have technical materials that may be useful in certain lessons. These materials may be in only one format, such as a video or computer image; the format might influence the selection of the delivery system.

Figure 6-4 highlights the typical utilization, audience size, and effectiveness (given size) of the delivery techniques. Although there are exceptions for some of these delivery techniques, this chart provides guidelines for their use.
